Auto sales plunge; industry on the ropes
Sales numbers released Tuesday confirm the U.S. auto industry has hit the roughest stretch of road in at least two decades, with the effects being felt from the Motor City to Mountain View.

Police arrest Tracy couple after a 16-year-old Sacramento teen -- wearing only a pair of boxers and carrying a heavy chain that was padlocked to his ankle -- stumbled into a local gym asking employees to hide him. The teen was reported missing from a foster home in Sacramento in 2007.
